Deleting "Log Off DSWKim"

You don't want "Lof Off DSWKim" in the start menu. If your Windows 95/98/NT box is a stand alone home PC, and you don't need an extra buggy step and annoying menu; try this tip with the extreme precaution.

  1. If you are an experienced computer user, try regedit to modify the registry. If not, don't try this.
  2. HKEY_Current_User\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
  3. Edit > New > Binary Value.
  4. Name the new entry as NoLogOff.
  5. Enter the following value: 01 00 00 00
  6. O.K. > Exit > Restart the computer.
