Capturing screen under Linux

On Console:

1)  script (which is a part of util-linux
            can be used only by root.)

    # script 
    Script started, file is typescript

    When done, type exit.

    # exit
    Script done, file is typescript

On X-Windows:

2)  XV > grab > Delay 5 > Hide XV windows
