- File > New with a background of your choice.
- Type the text.
- Edit > Stroke > Inside, pixel=1with dark color to give edges standout.
- Select Gradient Tools.
- Define color from Dark Copper to Light Copper to simulate Copper.
- Go to Gradient Editor, where you should spend lots of time to figure out in order to get the effects you want.
- I set the gradient value 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 100%. You should refer the to manual on how to set these values. A little bit of trials will make you comfortable setting it.
- If it goes as planned, you will see curved up and down colored strips in the Gradient Tool Options box.
- Apply Gadient diagonally from upper left to lower right.
- Add Drop Shadow. (You are not required to do).
- Applying Light Effects will glow the surface.
