Vertically Stripped Background for Web Pages

  1. File > New.
  2. Fill the canvas with texture of your choice.
  3. Play with the texture of your choice. (The quality of the background stems here).
  4. Make a white color as your foreground.
  5. Gradient Tool > Foreground To Transparent; and Type is Linear.
  6. Apply the gradient from left to right on the far left side of the canvas. Experimnet with it.
  7. Make a darker color as your foreground.
  8. Apply the gradient from right to left on the far right side of the canvas.
  9. Change the background color to the same you intend to use as a background for your web page.
  10. Increase the canvas size horizontally large enough to fit most video resolution. I usually set pixels 1600.
  11. Move the above object to the far left side of the canvas.
  12. Here you go!
