12.11:  Visited Los Angeles Maritime Museum, San Pedro.
12.07:  It rained in LA.
12.06:  Received this year's first X-mas card.
11.29:  Suffered severely from toothaches and found treatment of root canal was needed :-(
11.28:  Happy Thanksgiving!
11.27:  Visited Kenneth Hahn SRA to take panoramic picture of LA downtown cityscape.
11.25:  Visited around Los Feliz, West Hollywood, Mid-Wilshire and K-town for various scenes.
11.22:  Visited around Oceanside, Escondido, La Jolla and Salk Institute in San Diego, and
        registered 260 miles.
11.21:  Upgraded Internet Explorer to 11.
11.20:  It rained in LA area.
11.18:  Visited 7 mid-Century architecural heritages in West LA, West Holly and Culver City.
11.17:  Visited numerous roadside attractions in Hacienda Heights, La Puente, Monterey Park,
        Laurel Canyon, Los Angeles, Van Nuys and Beverly Hills.
11.15:  Visited 6 Big Donuts stores in Long Beach, Compton and Century City.
11.13:  Visited Muffler Men and Big Donuts and Compton, East LA, Santa Fe Springs and Cerritos.
11.09:  Hiked to Heart Rock in San Bernardino National Forest, and visited 
        Elmer Long's Bottle Tree Ranch, Oro Grande and visited Calico Ghost Town finally, and
        hiked Rainbow Basin National Nature in Barstow, and registered 340 miles in one day.
11.04:  Visited murals in Santa Paula, Thomas Aquinas College and
        Bart's Books in Ojai.
11.01:  Last trip used 103.312 gallons of gas for 2,408 miles which makes 23.31 MPG which is lower than 
        previous trips and I took 7208 pictures during 7 days/6 nights of travel.

10.31:  Visited Hearst Castle SHP and followed PCH-1 south home stopping at various points;
        Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo, Santa Barbara.
10.30:  Hiked Bear Gulch Cave and Balcony Cave of Pinnacles NP and drove to Moneterey and 
        drove PCH-1 South to camp out at Kirk Creek Campground and stopped at a number of 
        scenic spots. 
10.29:  Visited De Young Museum and places in Golden Gate Park and Painted Ladies.
        Visited Cliff House but was disappointed at the dry atmosphere where it used to be vibrant.
10.28:  Visited Charles Schultz Snoopy Museum in Santa Rosa and
        Church of St. Teresa of Avila in Bodge which is 150 years old, and
        visited Golden Gate Bridge and Bonita Lighthouse for various shots.
10.27:  Drove from Reno, NV to McArthur-Burney Falls SP, CA and was quite happy for it, and
        visited Lassen Volcanic NP.  In late afternoon, I drove long hours to Berkeley, CA.
10.26:  Viisted Virginian City Old Town, Fort Russell SHP, Grimes Point Petroglyph and
        got quite disappointed at Fly Geyser, Gerlach, NV as it was too far to see.
        But Black Rock Desert and Playa was really impressive, and in late afternoon,
        I drove to Reno, to camp out in Davis Creek Campground.
10.25:  Left home at 2:30 AM and visited Bishop, 2 petroglyph sites in Volcanic Tableland, Bishop, and
        visited Devil's Postpile NM and Hune Lake and Bodie Ghost town SHP, and drove long way to
        Virginia City.

10.22:  Visited Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro.
10.19:  Last trip was my 17th trip to American southwest region.
        Had 2,855 miles on my minivan with total 115.688 galles ($408.40) which makes 24.7 gallons/mile.
        Took 7,114 pictures.

10.18:  Liked again visiting Valley of Fire SP with a number of hiking trails and the warm weather was
        perfect for both hiking and picture taking.  Visited Lost Ciity Museum in Overton and headed home.
10.17:  Disappointed at Chloride ghosttown but Oatman Ghost town was the best experience mixing with
        local people and burros; Liked the scenic Techatticup ghosttown and with lots of pictures.
        Due to government shutdown, Grapevine Canyon was closed :-(
10.16:  Visited Little Painted Desert Navajo Park and Meteor Crater.
        Pentax K20D's memory card slot got broken and I couldn't get memory card out for backup :-(
        Couldn't find the source to fix it while on travelling :-(
        Visited Lowell Observatory but didn't join the tour.
        Drove pass through Sedona but it was so crowded, and visited Jerome Old Town and
        Jerome State Park which was great, and visiting Watson Lake of Prescott was the best
        discorvey of this trip on seeing granite dells.
10.15:  Toured Mystery Valley of Monument Valley and 
        visited Coalmine Canyon for sunset and passed through Hopi Mesas and
        camped out in Homolovi State Park.
10.14:  After previous night's rains and thunderstorm, dirt roads on the way to 
        number of arches were hard for my minivan, and I left for Monument Valley.
10.13:  After attending the morning session of Albuquerque Balloon Fiest 2013,
        drove to Taos and visited Taos Pueblo, Earthship Biotecture, Riod Grande Gorge Bridge.
10:12:  Visited Santa Fe and Chimayo.
        Attended the afternoon session of Albuquerque Balloon Fiest 2013.
10.11:  Drove from LA home to Gallup, NM, visiting Seligman, AZ.

10.09:  Compiled Table of Contents of the book I've been working.
10.03:  Casted Absentee Ballot for November 5 Election.
10.01:  Surprised 3/4 of year 2013 has passed already.
        Federal government shut down and I had to cancel US driving camping trip this year :-(
9.27:  Had Toyota Sienna serviced for 30K miles maintenance.
9.18:  iPhone 5S is upgraded with iOS 7.0.
9.12:  Sound Pioneer Ray Dolby passed away.
9.11:  Succeeded on configureing wifi on Raspbery Pi.  Now RasPi is fully configured.
9:08:  Succeeded on Install MacOS X 10.8.2 on VMWare 9, after years of trials.
9:04:  DS1555 laptop crashed after 4 years of intense usage and I had hectic 48 hours to reimage.
9.02:  Labor Day!

6.04:  Visited Carroll Ave Victornial House District, Hollyhock House, Oliver House and 
       Neutra Office Building.
5.31:  Visited Griffith Observatory, Lovell House, Ennis House and Heritage Square Museum.
5.28:  Visited Venice Beach, Venic Canal, Santa Monica Pier and Santa Monica Promenade.
5.27:  Memorial Day.
5.23:  Visited Gamble House and Millard House in Pasadena, Chemosphere in Hollywood Hills,
       Vanalden Cave in Tanzania and Binocular Building in Venice.
5.21:  Visited Crystal Church in Garden Grove, Roger's Garden in Corona del Mar and
       Historic San Juan Capistrano.
5.20:  Visited Hemet Maze Stone, Forever Marilyn in Palm Springs, Palm Spring Aerial Tramway and 
       Coachella Valley Preserve and  the temperature was up to 104 Fahrenheit.
5.15:  Magnitude 4 earthquake hit southbay at 1:00 PM.
5.13:  Visited South Coast Botanic Garden in Rolling Hills.
5.06:  It rained in LA.
4.26:  3,2 earthquake hit LA at 7:52 PM.
4.22:  Upgrade to Android 4.1.2.
3.31:  Q1 is already over.
3.26:  Got recuperated from flu after 2-1/2 weeks of suffering :-(
