12.31:  The last day of 2010.
        It was a bad year for me as my weight stayed above 200 lbs all year long :-(
        This was the first year without foreign travels or out-of-state travels.
        I can't help making occasional trips between Los Angeles and San Jose/San Francisco.
12.29:  Had a very pleasant dream and didn't want to wake up, but had to wake up to start a day again.
        Never had such sweet dream before.
12.25:  Merry Christmas!
12.24:  Bought HP Photosmart A646, but it failed to print :-(
12.16:  Installed RHEL 5.5, Ubuntu 10.4 and FreeBSD 8.1 on VMWare workstation 7.1.2.
12.15:  It seemed like everything's wrapping up as it's near year's end.
12.14:  There was a twist in the plan and I needed to start the process all again :-(
12.12:  Visited Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena.
        Bought Sennheiser PX200 headset, which's my 3rd of the same kind.
12.10:  It turned out sour against the prior expectation.
        It's time to forget it and move forward for a new opportunity.
12.7:  Finished most of unfinished and clutttered to do lists which piled up over the years.
       It's time to start filling in blank pages of new to do list.
12.6:  Bought Motorola H270 bluetooth heahset to pair with Google G1 phone.
12.5:  Slept all day due to severe headache.
12.4:  Visited Birch Aquarium in La Jolla and Old Towne in San Diego.
12.2:  Upgraded to VMWare Workstation 7.1.2.
12.1:  Realized again that new opportunity come all the time.
       If you missed to catch one, wait for the next one rather than missing the already gone.
       Stopped using PGP for email encryption.
11.29:  Surprised again I forgot I wished to have forgotten too quickly as before.
        That confirmed me that "Once is enough".
11.25:  Happy Thanksgiving!
11.24:  Finished the revised draft of the Computer Animation Production Plan.
11.23:  Finished the first stage of cleaning up digital data.
        Learned again giving an opportunity once was enough for me to decide.
        Giving them second opportunity was not worth at all as it always disappointed me.
11.19:  Made another unrecoverable mistake :-(
        When could I stop making a decision one step late.
11.13:  Cleaned up digital data massively.
11.12:  New day started regardless of how the surrounding situation changed.

       Need to exercise to keep up the shape and to lose weight to healthy level.
11.3:  30 years ago on November 3, 1980, we came to America as immigrants, and 30 years has passed already.
10.31:  Happy Halloween!
        Had a dream while sleeping, last of which was quite a while ago.
10.27;  Went through another decision making moment which I passed by.
        What would be the outcome of this?
10.14:  Benoit Mandelbrot died at 85, whose work inspired me in computational programming.
10.11:  Columbus Day!
10.10:  10/10/10.
10.5:  Casted absentee ballot for November election, hoping to have new governor for CA.
10.4:  It rained in LA, which was a good break from the heat.
10:1:  Opportunity is what you make!
9.27:  Los Angeles hit 113 degrees F (45 Celsius), the highest recorded since 1877.
       Torrance hit 109 degrees.
       Regretted missing one of the best opportunities, which I didn't realize at that time :-(

9.3:  Bought Panasonic FH20 8x optical zoom digital camera for carry-on snapshots.
8.13:  Friday the 13th!
8.10:  Was diagnosed I was suffering from "shingles" for the past 2 weeks.
7.23:  Finished up cleaning up digital data and digital pictures, and
       will freezing change of data for a month.
7.17:  Upgraded PSP-slim's CFW to 5.50GEN-D3 which was straightforward and smooth.
7.16:  Realized again that the world was not necessarily what it looked like on the surface.
7.8:  Felt frustrated when 5 new goldfishes died in one hour in the aquarium.
7.7:  Felt 5.4 Earthquake hit LA while having dinner at 3rd floor of Galleria in RB.
7.4:  Fourth of July!
7.3:  Tried to configure maps for PSP Slim GPS and GPSDRIVE on eeepc 701.
7.1:  Watched "Samson & Delilah" by Warwick Thornton about grim realities of Aboriginal life in Australia.
6.30:  1/2 of year 2010 has passed.  Time flies.
6.25:  Visited The Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach which's waste of money.
       Visited Korean American Friendship Bell in San Pedro.
6.24:  Visited Gamble House in Pasadena.
       Visited Kodak theatre and Mann's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
       Took the LA subway for the first time.
6.22:  In Foster City, CA.
6.21:  In Pleasanton, CA.
6.20:  In Pleasanton, CA.
6.12:  It was a tiring weekends.
6.10:  I don't allow anyone playing behind my back.
6.9:  Was a bad day :-(
6.7:  Earthquake hit L.A. at 2:17 AM while sleeping, originated from Manhattan Beach.
5.31:  Memorial Day!
5.27:  Casted abosentee ballot for Primary election on June 8, 2010
5.26:  Drove from Pleasanton to Hawthorne in 5:30 hours; 14:00-19:30, which was quite fast.
5.25:  In Pleasanton, CA.
5.24:  In Pleasanton, CA.
5.23:  Visited Golden Gate Bridge, Fishermans Wharf, Pier 39, Japan Center, SF Hills area,
       Exploratorium, Mission San Francisco de Asis and Mission San Rafael Arcangel.
       As I got too tired and parking was difficult, I couldn't walk around city much.
       I missed to visit Chinatown and Alcatraz as the ticket was sold out.
       This trip completes visiting 20 out of 21 California missions.
5.22:  Visited 4 California missions: Mission Santa Clara de Asis, Mission San Juan Bautista, 
       Mission San Carlos Borrromeo de Carmelo and Mission Santa Cruz.
       Driving around Carmel, Monterey and Santa Cruz was good.
       In late afternoon, drove around El Camino Real in Santa Clara reminiscing over Silicon Valley days.

5.19:  Drove from Carlsbad to Pleasanton in 7:30 hours.
5.15:  Took Highway 101 from Pleasanton in NorCal to Hawtorne, SoCal which took 10 hours, and
       visited 5 California missions along the way: San Juan Bautista, Nuestra Senora de la Soledad,
       San Antonio Padua, San Miguel Arcangel and San Luis Obispo de Tolosa.
       Total round trip was 960 miles with 43.328 gallons filled her up.
5.14:  In Pleasanton, CA.

       Left Hawthorne at 4:00 and arrived at Pleasanton at 10:45.
5.9:  Trashed hundreds of book from the collection.
5.8:  Walked around Chinatown in L.A. which reminded me of old friends whom I lost contact with.
5.7;  It didn't go smoothly...
4.30:  Kept freshwater aquarium for 10 weeks, and all 9 neon tetras died;
       6 out of 30 feeder guppies survived; 6 out of 30 fancy guppies survived;
       5 out of 8 shrimp survived and 10 out of dozens of guppy fries survived so far.
4.17:  Visited March Field Air Museum in Riverside.
4.9:  Trashed about 500 movie and drama titles.
4.8:  Right moment came too late or I didn't catch the right moment earlier?
4.5:  It rained in L.A.
      Due to severe headache, it was difficult for me to think clearly.
      So I watched a number of movie videos most of the day.
4.4:  Happy Easter Sunday!
      7.2 earthquake hit Mexicali which is 220 miles south of Los Angeles which was also quite shaken.
      Actually I was taking a nap in my room, and I got shaken.
      Slept all day due to severe headache.
4.3:  There are always unexpected encounter with people.
      You've never excpected someone would be so interesting to you, but 
      that person turned out to be like your missing part.
      But that kind of situation usually comes too late.
3.31:  1/4 of this year has passed.
3.26:  8 out of 9 neon tetras died in 2 weeks in my aquarium.
3.24:  In my aquarium, 5 out of 9 neon tetras died of fin-nipping by guppies in 4 days.
3.23:  Filled out Census 2010.
3.19:  My Birthday!
       I'm getting into new year and new dacade; an age group where you do it once now and
       won't have a chance do it again.
3.18:  Noticed that in my aquarium, 5 neon tetra's tails were eaten by other existing fishes,
       most of whose size are 1/4 of neon tetras.  That's quite sad.
3.15:  Received a renewal of businees license from the city of Hawthorne after delays.
3.10:  Recupearated from flu and enjoyed a day without coughs or runny nose.
3.9:  Slept all day due to flu and having coughed for 2 days, I had chest/stomach/belly pain
      each time I coughed.
3.8:  Suffered all day from dry coughs.
      Having coughed all day, I got sore throat by late afternoon :-(
3.7:  Slept until 2 pm due to symptoms of flu and felt much better.
      While washing my hair, I was shocked I didn't have much energy to wash hair with two arms.
3.6:  Had a symptom of flu since last night and slept all day.
3.5:  Watched "Youth in Revolt" and "Battle for Terra".
      Installed Windows Server 2008 R2 on GM5420.
3.2:  Moving forward after a couple of months of hibernation of occupying myself with projects.
      Realized that with full tank of gas, I drove for 3 weeks.  I used to fill her up 4-5 days.
2.28:  1/6 of Year 2010 has passed.  Time flies too quickly.
2.26:  Another unpleasant encounter with her.  When she would be out of my way :-(
       Had a couple of bad incidents today at UCLA :-(
2.18:  Had CA driver's license renewed, which was a first DMV visit in 15 years.
       Bought 10-gallon aquarium set to breed 20+ small gold fish.
2.16:  Upgraded and edited massively on links of www.dswkim.org as almost half the links were dead.
2.15:  Presidents' Day!
       Found out I read the weight scale wrong the other day.
       It was 210 pounds not 205, which was critical health-threatening number :-(
2.14:  Lunar New Year!
       Valentine's Day!
       Attended the class meeting where 3  of ex-gf's showed up ;-)
2.13:  Bought Canmore GT-730F USB GPS stick dongle and 
       it worked well with Microsoft Streets and Trips 2010.
2.10:  Although became failed resolution for many years, losing weight is my highest priority,
       as I hit embarassing and health-threatening 205 pounds :-(

2.9:  Finished first round of cleaning up all physical and digital data, which helped me
      to see how I was and how I am such that how I should go from here to the future.
      Donated lots of books to libraries and friends and 
      threew away lots of stuff which filled trash container quickly.
      I should start the second round of cleaning up as I couldn't get rid of quite a stuff,
      which were attached with my memories, but I couldn't live on reminiscing on memories anymore.
1.31:  1/12 of year 2010 has passed.  How quickly time flies!
1.30:  Korean cartoonist Kil Chang-deok passed away, whose cartoon Keobeongi I really liked.
1.26:  After 3 days of sunshine in L.A., it started raining again.
1.23:  Started planning the layout for the next 10 years.
       Unlike in younger days, whatever I planned to do would be done only once,
       as there would not be the next time to try again as I would get older.
1.22:  Finished sorting out pictures taken during 6-month long trips to Asia.
       Next steps would be best portraits and best scene pictures for portfolios.
1.17:  Raining season in LA started as forecast predicted.
1.15:  Time flies as 1/24 of year 2010 has passed already.
1.11:  Finished sorting out Software collection and MP3 collection DVD/CD's to lighten up storage.
1.10:  Ended up trashing 1,800+ movie titles from the collection as keeping all those was a burden,
       not because those were less-than-better movies.
1.7:  Trashed 500+ movie titles from the collection and I didn't realized I had that much titles.
1.4:  Trashed 1,000 titles from movie collection as it became bulky and burdensome.
1.3:  Watched "Noriko's Dinner Table" which was kind of weird to understand.
1.2:  Acted on what I should or should not have acted, but I had to.
      That made us even and the case was finally over which was long overdue.
1.1:  Happy New Year!
      As it became customary now, my highest priority for this year is losing weight ;-)
