Compared to my internet/networking experiences, I seldom do chatting.

First of all, there's plenty of people to meet around wherever I live, work and go. Over coffee, beer or wine, I enjoy talking to person face to face. I don't need to rely on meeting new people over the net.

When meeting a people on the net, we can't find really who he is. Good point is I can throw away prejudice to find out who he really is and know about him as we talk. But in more cases, I see the disguise he wants me to see. Such a disguise would have been discovered easily if I had met in person.

I see many people are addicted to chatting and surfing on the internet. I may be too cruel to them, but "Get a life". (6-17-97)
