| E137. First Half of 2005 |
Although I had many plans for the year 2005, I had very little done during the first half and need to achieve all those during the next 6 months.
For the first 3 months of the year, I spent time in Korea and Japan, basically travelling and writing.
Upon returning home, due to the lack of exercise, I gained 20 lbs and experienced high blood pressure with headaches most mornings, so I started to exercise 40 minutes a day to lose weight and lower blood pressure to the normal, which started work after 2 1/2 months of hard exercise.
Spending most of the time at home, I went over all my belongs; books, documents, collections, pictures, hodge podeges, etc. It was like going over all things related to me from birth to the present, which brought me the mixed feelings.
I threw away many things I assumed I didn't need anymore, and repacked many belongs which I wouldn't open for a while. I tried to keep open files and packages minimum so that I can move around more freely, and now I'm in pretty good shape.
Although I doubted I was wasting too much time on it, once I finished up, I felt great on spending time on it, as it gave a chance to see myself freshly. Actually it was not really "fresh", but I could see myself which I forgot quite some time, which gave me a fresh look.
